Chemical Dosing Unitsand Biological Dosing UnitsWe also supply a wide range of accessories and DIY items for the chemical industry installer. Be sure to visit our Standard Products and Standard Accessories pages.
Designers and manufacturers of a range of dosing units for
dispensing chemicals for ware washing and laundry machines
as well as a variety of other applications.
The chemicals are usually dosed by means of peristaltic pumps which
do not need foot valves on the supply lines.
Standard configurations are units with either one or two pumps
and a variety of control methods:
Conductivity control uses a sensing probe in the wash water
and detergent chemical is dispensed to maintain the mixture at
the concentration set by the installer of the unit.
Click here to view the Single Pump Conductivity unit Installation Instructions.
Double Timer control uses two times preset by the installer
of the unit.
When the machine has been switched off for a while, and then
switched on again, the assumption is made that it has been
drained and refilled with fresh water.
The initial dose time then pumps sufficient detergent to condition
the fresh water.
For subsequent machine cycles the maintenance timer pumps
the smaller maintenance dose for each wash cycle.
This is a very popular configuration because despite the
simplicity of the installation it works effectively.

A Single Timer preset by the installer of the unit may be used
to dose the rinse chemical at the beginning of the rinse cycle.

Alternatively, the installer may wish the rinse chemical to dose
during the full rinse cycle. In this case the rinse pump is Speed
Controlled to set the total amount of chemical dosed with each
rinse cycle.
The timer circuit trigger inputs are wired to events such as
solenoid operations in the machine.
In three phase machines these events may be powered by
different phases and to simplify installation we offer a small
Interface Board for combining multiple phase inputs into
common phase output.
The Interface Board recognises trigger inputs of 220 volts AC
and 12 or 24 volts AC or DC.
Irrespective of the trigger voltage the switched 5 Amp output
can be supplied with any voltage up to 220 volts.

For those who prefer the DIY approach we also supply a variety
of separate items such as Peristaltic Pumps, Circuit Boards,
Conductivity Probes, Non Return Valves, Foot Valves, Strainers,
Tank Connectors, Venturi Feeds etc. See our Standard Products and Standard Accessories pages for details.

Biological Dosing UnitDesigners and manufacturers of the Bio-Dosing unit which doses a preset amount of enzyme at preset intervals. This unit is used for keeping drainage systems free of build up and blockages. The installer selects a time interval between doses and sets the volume of each dose. The enzyme material is dispensed by a peristaltic pump which eliminates the need for a foot valve, and can work with long lengths of piping and viscous fluids.
