This is the Instalation Instruction for the

Single Pump Conductivity Control unit.

Mounting the Box

Note that the box has mounting holes provided at the top of the base.

The two + marks at the top of this sheet are the drilling marks for mounting the box.

Using this template drill two holes for the rawlplugs.

Mount the unit using screws through the holes provided in the top left and right corners of the box.

Use rigid tubing which you can push into the pump tubing, fastening with a small cable tie.

If you use soft tubing, insert a non-corrosive ferrule into the tubing prior to insertion into the pump tubing to prevent the pump tubing and the cable tie from collapsing the tubing and restricting the flow.

Support the tubing near the pump so that the weight of the tubing does not hang on the pump tubing, which would cause the pump tubing to collapse.

Make sure that the tubing used is compatible with the substance to be pumped, as certain types of tubing are damaged by strong acids and alkalis.

How To Connect the Conductivity PCB

Connections need to be made to the connector strip. (see sticker in box for connections)
Connect Earth to the GREEN wire.
Connect 220 v WASH Live to the WHITE wire.
Connect 220 v WASH Neutral to the BLUE wire with the fuse. (Replace only with a 2A fuse)
On the smaller PCB plug connect the two wires from the Probe to the positions labelled "PROBE"

Adjustment

Adjust the Detergent strength using the two screwdriver adjusters labelled "FINE" and "COARSE"

1. Titrate a correct mixture.
2. Centre the "FINE" adjuster.
3. Adjust the "COARSE" adjuster to just stop the pump.
4. Adjust the "FINE" adjuster to just stop the pump.

The ALARM adjustment is automatic.

Pump Protector Time-Out

When selected, "ON" protects the detergent pump by switching it off after approximately 15 minutes continuous pumping. Power the board down to reset. Jumper selector located centrally on the PCB. Move jumper to select time-out function "ON" or "OFF" as illustrated on the PCB.
