This is the Instalation Instruction for the

Single Timer Single Pump control unit.

Mounting the Box

Note that the box has mounting holes provided at the top of the base.
The two + marks at the top of this sheet are the drilling marks for mounting the box.
Using this template drill two holes for the rawlplugs.
Mount the unit using screws through the holes provided in the top left and right corners of the box.

Use rigid tubing which you can push into the pump tubing, fastening with a small cable tie.
If you use soft tubing, insert a non-corrosive ferrule into the tubing prior to insertion into the pump tubing to prevent the pump tubing and the cable tie from collapsing the tubing and restricting the flow.

Support the tubing near the pumps so that the weight of the tubing does not hang on the pump tubing, which would cause the pump tubing to collapse prematurely..

Make sure that the tubing used is compatible with the substance to be pumped, as certain types of tubing are damaged by strong acids and alkalis.

WARNING: ALL CIRCUITRY IS LIVE WHEN POWERED AND MAY DELIVER A POTENTIALLY LETHAL SHOCK IF TOUCHED. DO NOT TOUCH WITHOUT ENSURING THAT THE POWER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED.

The unit has a timer pcb, which is adjustable from approx 3 seconds to 2 minutes. To adjust the time rotate the shaft clockwise for longer and anticlockwise for shorter times.

Connect 220v mains to the unit as indicated on the sticker in the box. (Live to BROWN and Neutral to BLUE)

Connect the triggering signal to the WHITE Trigger input. The trigger signal must be present for longer than 3 seconds to cause the unit to start pumping.

If the unit will not trigger at all or it triggers at the end of the cycle try reversing the Live and Neutral connections to the connector strip.

Connect mains EARTH to the green wire.

Make sure that the wiring does not interfere with the fan if the motor has a cooling fan.
